Plans are on track for Barbados to get a new conference centre.
According to Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, the site earmarked for its location is the site of the current Geriatric Hospital.
She spoke about the upcoming project during the groundbreaking ceremony for the Barbados Afreximbank African Trade Centre at Jemmotts Lane, St. Michael.
