Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has described the Budgetary Proposals and Financial Statement delivered by Finance Minister Ryan Straughn as the people’s budget.
That’s how she characterised it while speaking in Parliament today during debate on the Appropriations Bill, 2026.
Ms Mottley also said the budget provides support to many sectors and groups, including some of the most vulnerable in society.
