Untrue, completely baseless and dangerous.
That is how Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley describes recent statements by Opposition Leader Ralph Thorne, charging Government is engaged in voter padding by registering foreign labour and foreign students.
Noting this is the second time in two weeks he has done so, Prime Minister Mottley stresses in a statement, that the Barbados Labour Party has an impeccable record when it comes to voting and elections.
The Prime Minister says it is unacceptable for someone to stand in Parliament to suggest, without providing evidence, that there will be padding of the voters’ list.
She has challenged Mr Thorne should he have evidence, to produce it. Meanwhile, she also urged him that if all he has are unproven suspicions, he should desist from spreading slander.
