Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has been sharing her vision for crime reduction in Barbados and the region at large, given the high homicide rates.
She believes the time has come for more young people to be exposed to various service clubs.
She made the comments as she addressed the closing of Exercise TRADEWINDS 2024.
Meanwhile, she described yesterday’s assassination attempt on the Prime Minister of Slovakia as regrettable.
She says the incident is just the latest indication of how much the world has changed.
