Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley will today deliver a presentation on the music and legacy of Jamaican Reggae icon, Robert Nesta Marley.
It is part of the Jamaica Music Museum’s heritage series Grounation. Grounation is a Jamaican Rastafarian celebration that honours the 1966 visit of Ethiopia’s Emperor Haile Selassie I.
The heritage series will be held under the theme, ‘Bob Marley at Eighty: His Music, Legend and Legacy.”
Prime Minister Mottley’s presentation is titled, ‘So much trouble in the world: What we need is love’.
It will be presented through a pre-recorded video at the event.
