The Barbados Police Service is preparing to destroy a major haul of illegal drugs, worth an estimated $56 million on the street.
Early this morning, officers carried out part of the eradication exercise, burning a quantity of the narcotics.
Police Constable Damien Farmer briefed members of the media who witnessed the operation.
