The Barbados Police Service has identified the island’s 15th road fatality as 48-year-old Andre Mark Scott of # 58 Snapper Drive, Dolphin Park, Christ Church.
Scott was involved in this morning’s one-vehicle collision in Six Roads, St. Philip and was pronounced dead at the scene.
District ‘C’ personnel responded to a report of the incident around 11:05 a.m. on Monday, August 26 2024.
On arrival at the scene, police confirmed there was a single vehicle involved which carried the driver and a front-seat passenger.
The front-seat passenger was treated on the scene and discharged by ambulance personnel.
The vehicle had overturned on its right side after it struck the sidewalk and embankment.
Police are continuing their investigations of the incident.
