The Barbados Police Service has identified the man who died in a shooting incident on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
He is 30-year-old Kadeem Jelani Maycock, of 3rd Avenue, Chapman Lane, St. Michael
The Service noted in a press release that its Police Operations Control received a report of a shooting at 3rd Avenue, Chapman Lane, St. Michael, around 7:45 p.m. yesterday.
They note that “initial investigations have shown that the deceased was sitting amongst a group of men when a masked gunman approached and number of gun shots were discharged, injuring him. The Ambulance Service was contacted, personnel arrived and examined the body and said there were no signs of life. A medical doctor visited the scene and pronounced death.
“The deceased has been identified by a relative as Kadeem Jelani Maycock, 30 years old of 3rd Avenue Chapman Lane, St. Michael. Investigations are continuing into the matter.
