Police are investigating two incidents of car theft over the past 24 hours.
Officers at the District C Police Station in St. Philip tell CBC News that in the first case, which occurred at Marchfield, St. Philip, a man was robbed at gunpoint of his vehicle by an unknown assailant around 7:30 Saturday evening.
In the second incident, which reportedly occurred at the Kirtons Service Station in St. Philip, a couple was also robbed at gunpoint by an unknown assailant while in the parking lot of the establishment.
CBC News understands the stolen vehicle from the Marchfield incident was recovered at Harlington in St, Philip later the same evening.
Police are asking anyone who may have information about the incidents to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800 8477 or the nearest police station.
