The Barbados Police Service is investigating after a patient of the Psychiatric Hospital lost his life yesterday, Sunday, August 25, 2024.
Police at the Black Rock Station are conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding the unnatural death of the male patient, whose lifeless body was discovered at the Psychiatric Hospital on Sunday.
The police responded to the mentioned establishment situated at Black Rock Main Road, Saint Michael and on arrival, they viewed the lifeless body of 58-year-old Noel Hoyte, formerly of Brewster’s Land, Whitehall, Saint Michael, lying on the floor of the A Ward dormitory. A Medical Doctor pronounced death at the scene.
Investigations will continue into this matter.
