The Barbados Police Service is investigating the shooting death of a 27-year-old man.
Police say they responded to St. Barnabas Heights, St. Michael, about 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025, having received a report via telephone that a man was shot about 11:05 p.m. at the said location.
On arrival police were pointed to the lifeless body of 27-year-old, Anthony Malike Raheem Callender of Sargeant’s Village, Christ Church.
The Service further notes:
“The deceased was walking along the roadway when a vehicle approached him a series of gunshots were heard he was fatally injured, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
