The Barbados Police Service is investigating a shooting death at Whitehall #2, St Michael, which occurred on Monday, May 5, 2025, about 9:30 p.m.
40-year-old Nicolas Ethan Jordan of the same address and “who is known to the police”, died as a result of that shooting.
Police said he “had just arrived home in his motorcar when an unknown assailant approached him from the opposite side of the road and discharged a firearm, fatally wounding him.”

Police at District A Station responded to a shooting which occurred at Whitehall #2 St Michael on Monday 5th May 2025 about 9:30 p.m.
Investigations revealed that the deceased had just arrived home in his motorcar when an unknown assailant approached him from the opposite side of the road and discharged a firearm fatally wounding him. A medical doctor who was summoned to the scene examined the body and pronounced death. The deceased who is known to the police was positively identified by a relative as Nicolas Ethan Jordan 40 years old of the same address. Investigations are continuing into the matter.
