Police investigating shooting death

They note in a press release that “initial investigations have shown that a male was sitting on the bonnet of a car when he was approached by an armed person wearing a mask. That person discharged a number of gunshots that struck the victim. He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a private motorcar, where he succumbed to his injuries.
“The deceased was identified by a relative as Akil Hinds, 36 years, of Sandbox Avenue, Bayville, St. Michael. Investigations are continuing.
