The Barbados Police Service is investigating an unnatural death which occurred at Paradise Beach, Brighton, St. Michael.
They said in a press release that they “responded to a report of a naked man traversing the Stephens Hill, Black Rock area on Tuesday, 8th April 2025 about 1:17 p.m.
“Investigations led police to Paradise Beach, Brighton, St. Michael, where the naked man was seen at the edge of the water. The police issued commands to get the deceased away from the sea but were unsuccessful. Police subsequently sought additional help. The naked man ventured into the sea where his body became submerged. “
Police identified the man as 20-year-old Emmanuel Glasgow, of Bagatelle St. Thomas.

Police at Black Rock Station responded to a report of a naked man traversing the Stephens Hill, Black Rock area on Tuesday, 8th April 2025 about 1:17 p.m.
“Investigations led police to Paradise Beach, Brighton, St. Michael, where the naked man was seen at the edge of the water. The police issued commands to get the deceased away from the sea but were unsuccessful. Police subsequently sought additional help. The naked man ventured into the sea where his body became submerged. The body was removed from the sea by two civilians using their boat. After the body was brought ashore, a medical doctor arrived at the scene, examined the body, and pronounced death. The deceased was subsequently identified by a family member as Emmanuel Glasgow 20 yrs, of Bagatelle St. Thomas. Investigations are continuing into this matter.”
