Police are probing the circumstances surrounding the suspected drowning of a British visitor, whose body was discovered about 12:30 this afternoon at Deia Beach, Maxwell Coast Road, Christ Church.
He has been identified as 67-year-old Kevin Davis, a guest at the Barbados Beach Club, also located in Maxwell Coast Road.
Police say the Operations Control Room received a report that a beachgoer had pulled a body to shore at the mentioned beach.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene, and a close family member identified the body.
