Against the backdrop of a recent spike in gun violence, the Barbados Police Service is preparing to roll out a coordinated response aimed at reducing criminal activity.
Minister of Legal Affairs and Criminal Justice, Michael Lashley, says the increase in crime remains a serious concern.
He made the comments while officially reopening the Police Community Outpost at Haynesville, St James, yesterday.
