Parliamentary Debate continued on the Bail Bill, 2024 today but in the Upper House.
Government Senator Elizabeth Thompson says the proposed changes to the Bail Act are about protecting Barbadians by keeping dangerous criminals off the streets.
Listing among those, people who are accused off multiple murders and who terrorise communities, Ms. Thompson says they cannot be allowed to continue.
