The Labour Department is on a thrust to sensitise the public about issues relating to health and safety in the workplace.
On Saturday, members of the Department were out in their numbers to invite the public to several upcoming activities as part of Labour Week.
Labour Week, also known as Occupational Safety and Health Week, is observed from June 29 to July 3, under the theme, “A Legacy of Labour – 85 Years of Progress”.
Assistant Chief Labour Officer, Khama Salankey-Burke, gave an update during the outreach exercise.
Additionally, the Labour Department will be hosting a job fair on July 3, along with several other activities, including free health checks and entertainment.
