Senior Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Leslie Rollock, is urging the public to take all necessary precautions with COVID-19 on the rise once again.
She says with the new variant detected in Barbados’ largest source market, the USA, it is only a matter of time before it reaches our shores.
Dr. Rollock says contracting the virus will not be an issue for the average person.
However, she advises those most vulnerable to take all necessary precautions.
