Management of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital says ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, visitors and staff is top priority at the Martindale’s Road healthcare institution.
Communications Specialist Shane Sealy is assuring the public the QEH remains a safe and welcoming environment for all those seeking medical care, visiting loved ones, or conducting business.
His comments come in the wake of an incident which occurred at approximately 7:45 on Wednesday night, near the hospital’s main entrance, involving an altercation between a member of security and a visitor.
The matter is currently under investigation by both the hospital’s internal team and the Barbados Police Service.
