The Queen Elizabeth Hospital is moving full steam ahead to implement a new strategy designed to improve its operations and patient care.

According to Chief Exective Officer Neil Clark the 2025-2028 plan includes going paperless over the next few years.

He made the comments on the QEH Pulse radio show on Q100.7 FM ahead of a public consultation on Wednesday.

Director of Support Services Louise Bobb says much of the progress made has been triggered by events of 2022.

She says back then the Hospital was hit by a cyber attack which made its systems vulnerable.
