Scores of first-formers at Queens College have been recognised for their contributions in sports, academics and extracurricular activities over the past school year.
Officials presented the special tokens to the awardees during a special assembly at the Husbands St. James institution.
While lauding the students, principal Mitchelle Maxwell, urged them to maintain the standards while striving for excellence.
And Principal Maxwell highlighted the significance of their achievements given the number of young people involved in crime.
