Rastafarians feel excluded from medicinal cannabis industry

The Barbados Medicinal Cannabis Licensing Authority is adamant that there is room for everyone interested in the industry, but not all of the stakeholders agree.

Acting Chief Executive Officer of the BMCLA, Shanika Roberts-Odle, stresses that the industry is open to all.

However, some members of the Rastafarian community, arguably the island’s longest-standing group of cannabis users, feel excluded from the medicinal cannabis industry.
