The Barbados Customs and Excise Department is currently going through the process of getting more staff to better position it to deal with the day-to-day operations.
That is according to Deputy Comptroller responsible for trade operations, Sonia Jordan-Clarke, as the Department celebrates its 120th anniversary with a week of activities.
She says they are currently conducting interviews to secure more staff.
Ms Jordan-Clarke also says that the celebrations allow for them to show their humanity and personality a little more to the public.
