Remedial work to fix an environmental issue at the Grantley Adams Memorial School is close to completion.
Chairman George Griffith tells CBC News the work which started last month should be completed within a few weeks time.
Mr. Griffith says while online classes continue the board has held virtual meetings with parents, teachers, environmental experts and other stakeholders to inform them about the ongoing progress.
He adds that all classrooms are to be cleaned and air quality tests conducted before the all-clear is given for face-to-face classes to resume.
