Monday marks seventy years since Hurricane Janet struck Barbados on September 22, 1955, as a Category 3 hurricane with winds of 120 miles per hour, causing widespread devastation.
The hurricane left thousands of Barbadians homeless and affected many more.
92-year-old Anita Daniel, who was one of those impacted, has lasting memories of that system that will remain as long as she lives.
