The Barbados Consumer Empowerment Network is calling on retailers to pass on the cost savings of goods to consumers.
That is from Executive Director Maureen Holder, who made the call following comments by St George North Member of Parliament Toni Moore on the topic.
Further, Ms Holder says it is important for the Government to produce any supporting evidence it has to substantiate the claim that items such as milk, rice, or cooking oil have fallen in price, but are not consistently reflected by retailers.
