A 27-year-old motorcyclist has died following a road traffic collision this afternoon, along Lodge Road at its junction with Durants Road, Christ Church.
He has been identified as Alex Crichlow of Gall Hill, Christ Church.
Police say the incident, which occurred around 1:45, involved a motor lorry.
Investigations revealed the motor lorry was exiting from Durants Road and Crichlow was travelling along Lodge Road when the collision occurred.
He received injuries and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
Investigations are currently ongoing, and Lodge Road remains closed between Water Street and Durants Development.
