It is costing Government big bucks to deal with the influx of sargassum seaweed impacting beaches along the coastline.
An official at the Ministry of Environment says Government, through the Ministry of Environment, National Beautification, and the Blue and Green Economy, has had to allocate funds and source heavy equipment to address the problem, which is disrupting livelihoods and communities.
