The Barbados Coast Guard has confirmed it is conducting a joint search and rescue operation for a missing fisherman.
On Monday, Chief Fisheries Officer Dr Shelly-Ann Cox, sent out an SOS to fishermen of Barbados to help find one of their own.
Dr Cox says they received a report that the fishing vessel “Boy Blue I” capsized on Sunday evening off the harbour wall. One fisherman was rescued, while another is still missing.
She urged those who can aid in the search to contact Dock Master McAndrew Ottley.
