The Barbados Police Service is investigating an incident where a security officer stationed at a business reported that two men, one of whom was armed with a firearm and the other with a knife, entered the establishment and attempted to rob him.
This occurred around 1:58 p.m. yesterday, Sunday, May 18, 2025.
Investigations revealed that the security officer was on duty when the two assailants entered the establishment and immediately pointed weapons at the security officer. He ran but fell, and the assailants then attacked him, and a physical altercation ensued, resulting in the security officer receiving injuries. The culprits fled from the scene in a Nissan Tida motorcar bearing the registration number H37.

He was assisted by two colleagues while the culprits fled from the scene in a Nissan Tida motorcar bearing the registration number H37.
