Barbados Labour Party’s candidate for the upcoming St. James North by-election, Senator Chad Blackman, this morning ensured that his deposit has been paid.
Following the payment at the National Housing Corporation, Senator Blackman emerged alongside Campaign Manager, Deputy Prime Minister Santia Bradshaw, to thunderous applause from supporters.
He told reporters the campaign continues in earnest.
Senator Blackman will face Democratic Labour Party candidate Felicia Dujon in the May 21 by-election to contest for Member of Parliament of the St. James North constituency.
The seat was left vacant following the resignation of former Member of Parliament Edmund Hinkson on April 25.
