Senator Patricia Parris is calling for the new National Policy for Improving the Lives of Persons with Disabilities once passed, to be policed.
She says in order to deter people from parking in spots allocated to those with disabilities, there must be proper policing of the legislation.
Additionally, Senator Parris raised concerns about the quietness of electric vehicles and says provisions must be made for those with disabilities to hear when the vehicles are approaching.
