Independent Senator Andrew Mallalieu, says there was more than enough notice on the Notaries Public Bill, following protests from the Opposition.
But he’s raised concerns about the number of times the House does not allow for the stipulated five days to pass between the first and second reading of a bill.

The Notaries Public Bill 2024 was passed.
