Several initiatives to be rolled out to reduce waiting time at A&E

Several initiatives will be rolled out by month-end to reduce the waiting time at the QEH’s Accident and Emergency Department.

This is according to Consultant and Head, Dr. Anne-Marie Cruickshank.

Additionally, Dr. Cruickshank says they will also be embarking on a project with Bryden Stokes called the Metalyse Project.

She says there has been a recent surge in heart attacks, and the sooner the medication is administered, the better an individual’s chances of survival.
