Several people are receiving treatment following a mass-casualty incident this morning involving a public service vehicle and a pickup truck.
As a result, the section of road between the Norman Niles Roundabout and Barkers Road along the Belle has been closed.
Personnel from the Barbados Ambulance Service were on the scene as well.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes, and police officers are on the scene to direct traffic accordingly.
