Minister of Home Affairs and Information, Wilfred Abraham, is calling for a relook at the certification and pronouncement of death in this country.
He made the call during his contribution to the establishment of a palliative care facility in his constituency.
Recalling a number of scenarios where he had to intervene to get medical personnel to homes following the passing of individuals, Minister Abrahams said it is not practical that only two or three people can pronounce death in this country.
