The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Narcotics Unit has arrested and formally charged Joshua Chimiere Moses-Obah, 30, of #12 Cedar Avenue, River Club, South Africa, with several drug-related offences.
The charges, stemming from an incident on 30th March 2026, include possession of cannabis, intent to supply cannabis, trafficking in cannabis, and importation of cannabis.
Police report that the total estimated weight of the suspected cannabis is 16.8 kilogrammes, with an estimated street value of BDS $268,800.
Moses-Obah appeared before Magistrate Keitha Ellis in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 2nd April 2026, where he pleaded guilty to the offences.
He was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service at Dodds and is scheduled to reappear on Wednesday, 29th April 2026 for sentencing.
