As Good Friday traditions continue, members of Zion’s Apostolic Spiritual Baptist Temple carried out their annual procession of the 14 Stations of the Cross.
Dean of the Cathedral, Church of Jerusalem, David Estwick, says the tradition is important to give others an understanding of the road travelled by Jesus Christ, from the first station at the Roman Governor of Judea, Pontius Pilate’s Judgment Hall, to the last station at Calvary Hill.
He says people ought to be compassionate towards others in the world, and to do so with a level of temperance, as God is merciful towards everyone.
The procession began at their Richmond Gap, St. Michael temple and concluded in The City.
