For the second day this week, workers of the Sanitation Service Authority remained off the job.
Workers are protesting unpaid monies for a new incentive scheme announced by Government last year.
Acting General Secretary of the National Union of Public Workers Wayne Walrond says they are working assiduously on the workers’ behalf, and officials have committed to meeting next Tuesday to resolve the issues.
Mr Walrond also says, while it is unclear how long workers will be off the job, the NUPW remains committed to assisting their plight.
