Barbados has recorded another homicide.
This is after a man who was stabbed at the corner of Blanch Gap and Rihanna Drive, Westbury Road, St. Michael, on Sunday, June 8, succumbed to his injuries.
While the Barbados Police Service has not released the identity of the victim, they are reported to have a person of interest in custody.
Police provided some details on the incident, which occurred around 9:35 p.m. in a press release:
On arrival of the police at the scene, they learnt that a man stumbled into a house at the mentioned address with what appeared to be several stab wounds about his body. The residents of the house called for the Ambulance Service and on their arrival, transported the victim to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Q.E.H) where he is said to be in critical condition.:
