Students and staff of the Coleridge and Parry School have been thrown into mourning following the death of a teacher of that school.’
The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training has closed the school on Monday following the passing of Kelvin Harewood. They also note that grief counsellors will be available to members of staff.

It is with deep sadness that the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training mourns the passing of our colleague, Mr. Kelvin Harewood, teacher of the Coleridge and Parry School. He will be sorely missed by all. The school will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 20, 2025. However, grief counsellors will be available to members of staff who wish to receive this service. The Ministry of Education extends deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. May he rest in peace.”
