The Barbados Police Service has charged an 18-year-old with murder.
Criminal Investigation Department (District ‘A’) has arrested and formally charged Carlos Antonio Barton, 18 years of Garden Land, Country Road, St. Michael, for the following offence:
- Murder – Daron Elias 30th May 2025
Barton appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes, in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court No.1, on Saturday, August 16, 2025. He was not required to plead to the indictable offence and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds).
The matter was transferred to District ‘A’ Criminal Court No. 2, for Friday, September 12,2025.
