Transport Board’s Chief Operations Officer, Gena Boyce, says they have made alternative arrangements to ensure that commuters using the Melvin Bridge in St Joseph, can get to their destinations.
She says that since the collapse of the section of the Bridge, they have already put temporary measures in place to accommodate residents.
Speaking to members of the media during a tour last evening with Deputy Prime Minister Santia Bradshaw, Attorney General Dale Marshall and other officials, including members of the Ministry of Transport and Works, she said safety is the main concern.
