Two men have been granted bail after appearing in court on charges of possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.
They are Ayeko Adrian Alleyne and Tahshawn Rashad Smith, who appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court No. 1.
Smith and Alleyne were not required to plead to the offences and have been remanded to the Barbados Prison Service at Dodds.
The matter has been adjourned, and both accused are scheduled to return to court on Friday, June 6, 2025.
Farnum duo plead guilty to drug offences
Meanwhile, Michael and Richard Farnum appeared before Magistrate Deidra McKenna in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court, where they pleaded guilty to multiple cannabis-related offences.
Michael was granted bail in the sum of BDS $6,000, while Richard was granted bail in the sum of BDS $90,000.
The matter has been adjourned until Friday, May 16, 2025, for sentencing.
