The Barbados Police Service has identified the man who lost his life in a shooting incident on Monday.
He is 33-year-old Stephon Diego Miller, of 3rd Avenue, Nurse Land, Tweedside Road, St. Michael. Miller was identified by a family member.
Police noted in a press release that Miller was sitting outside a shop at Quakers Road, Carrington Village, St. Michael when a man approached and he was shot.

Police at Central Station are conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding the unnatural death of a male, arising out of a shooting incident at Quakers Road, Carrington Village, St. Michael on Monday, 31st March 2025.
CIRCUMSTANCES:
As a result of a report made to the Operations Control Room about 10:46 p.m., the police responded to Quakers Road, Carrington Village. Enquiries were made and it was learnt that the victim was sitting on the step of a shop, when he was approached by a man. A series of gunshots were heard and he fell to the ground. A Medical Doctor pronounced death at the scene.
The deceased has been identified by a family member as: Stephon Diego Miller, 33 years of 3rd Avenue, Nurse Land, Tweedside Road, St. Michael.
Investigations will continue into this matter.
