Police at Holetown Station are conducting investigations into a shooting which occurred along Holetown Road about 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
That shooting resulted in the death of 21-year-old Devontay Boyce, of Risk Road, Fitts Village St. James.
Investigations revealed that the deceased, along with other people, were in the car park of a business establishment when they were approached by a group of men who disembarked from a vehicle and discharged several shots, injuring the deceased and two other persons.
The deceased was transported in a private motorcar to a private medical facility, where he succumbed to his injuries. Devontay Boyce was identified by a relative. Investigations are continuing into the matter.
