The Barbados Police Service has identified the two men who died in a stabbing incident at Foul Bay Beach, St. Philip on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
They are 33-year-old Javan Devere Burton of 3rd Ave, Ocean City, St. Philip and 21-year-old Dejuan Amon Niles, of Hopewell, Silver Sands, Christ Church.
Police said in a press release that they received a report from a man around 11:18 p.m. on Tuesday, who said he was involved in an altercation. They “discovered the lifeless bodies of two males with multiple stab wounds” when they responded to the scene.

Police at the District ‘C’ Station are conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding the unnatural deaths of two males, whose unresponsive bodies were discovered at Foul Bay Beach, St. Philip on Tuesday, 1st April 2025.
CIRCUMSTANCES:
A report was made to the Operations Control Room about 11:18 p.m. from a male who stated that he was involved in an altercation with another male at Foul Bay Beach. The police responded to the area, conducted a search and discovered the lifeless bodies of two males with multiple stab wounds. A Medical Doctor visited the scene, examined the bodies and pronounced death of both persons.
The deceased have been subsequently identified as:
Javan Devere Burton, 33 years of 3rd Ave, Ocean City, St. Philip.
Dejuan Amon Niles, 21 years of Hopewell, Silver Sands, Christ Church.
Investigations will continue into this matter.
