A man who was arrested and formally charged for murder, among other charges, has been remanded after a court appearance yesterday.
He is Karl Omar Maynard, 43 years, of Four Roads, St. Philip.
Maynard appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court # 1, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. He was remanded to The Barbados Prison Service (Dodds) and is scheduled to appear in the District ‘C’ Magistrate Court on July 30, 2025.

- Murder – Cameron Elcock
- Endangering Life – Eight (8) counts
- Use of Firearm – Eleven (11) counts
- Violent Disorder
- Possession of Firearm – 27th June 2025
- Possession of Five(5) Rounds of Ammunition – 27th June 2025

- Theft of Motor Car – Akeem Millington 27th February 2025
