The young man who was shot at Beckwith Street, St. Michael on Wednesday has been treated and discharged from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Police note that he was discharged last night.
They stated in a press release that “there was an altercation between two men and a series of gunshots were discharged. One of the gunshots penetrated a house along the roadway and injured a young male inside the house”.

Police responded to Beckwith Street, St. Michael about 5 :30 p.m. on Wednesday 16th April 2025 after receiving a report of gunshots heard in the area.
Investigations revealed that there was an altercation between two men and a series of gunshots were discharged. One of the gunshots penetrated a house along the roadway and injured a young male inside the house. He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a private vehicle where he was treated and discharged.
